Trainees

Leading in to Hessel Children’s Centre’s 2nd Birthday we now have 25 staff caring for our 120 registered families. We are proud to say that our staff numbers include 3 trainees who are all completing their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) CHC30121 with Enhance Training RTO 40387.

Traineeships are the ideal career starter, they provided all round support to ensure successful completion and that trainees thrive in their learning and the workplace. The Trainees are employed by Hessel GTO during the traineeship and they ensure all administration requirements are fulfilled. At the completion of the traineeship, the host employer has the opportunity to employ the trainee in a simple transfer.

Full time trainees work within our centre 4 days per week and study 1 day per week. Traineeships studying a Certificate III in ECEC CHC30121 typically run for 12 months. To complete a traineeship with positive job prospects, experience on the job and a nationally recognised qualification is a fantastic introduction to the industry.

Hessel Children’s Centre is proudly facilitating the traineeships for:

• Elise who is almost complete and will move straight on to studying for her Diploma qualification. Her children are at our centre and after visiting us regularly, Elise knew this is the career for her.
• Brooke has made the move from Administration and is absolutely loving the change and earning while learning.
• Laura also has a child in the centre and is settling in to her new routine smoothly. Mornings are her favourite time, arriving early and enjoying a peaceful breakfast before starting work.

Hessel GTO Field Officer, Bernie Crafter visits the trainees and centre director, Hana regularly to check in and to ensure the traineeship is running smoothly.
